One of it’s major limitations was however it’s inability to add a HTML signature to emails. As always, some enterprising person who hasn’t seen daylight in months has come up with a solution to this problem whihch is very simple to implement.

If you’re a Gmail user all you have to do is the following:

1. Download and install Greasemonkey if you don’t already have it.
2. Install the script
3. You’ll need to have the HTML code for the signature that you want to insert. Once you have that just go to the Greasemonkey script manager and edit the script’s HTML signature to whatever you want.

Viola – you have one tricked out signature ready to go! Thanks to Ryan for showing me the way to this great tip.

There are many scripts available that are available that are really easy to install. I thought I’d make a list of my favourite Google e.g. Google Reader, Gmail, Search etc.

Of course, all of these scripts require Greasemonkey to be installed. If you haven’t done so yet, then here’s how:

1. install Firefox (I had to say it just in case…..)
2. install greasemonkey

Now for the scripts. To install just follow the links below and install each script in two clicks, just like firefox addons:

1. Remove Google Ads: Removes Google/Adsense ads from all pages
2. Google Reader Optimized: Uses the maximum amount of space for the feed viewing area, at the expense of all unnecessary UI elements
3. Del.icio.us Meets Google: Replaces Yahoo Ads on Del.icio.us with Google Results
4. Download Google Videos: Lets you download Google Videos
5. Force Reader: Add feeds to Google Reader automatically without having to view a bridge page
6. Gmail CSS Skin: Make Gmail look even sexier. So cool
7. GmailTo: Opens Gmail compose window whenever you click on an email address in a webpage
8. Try This Search On: Google may be the best search engine, but it’s not perfect. This script tries to detect when you are searching any website and then provides links to do a similar search on: Amazon.com, Ask.com, dmoz, Google, MSN, Yahoo!, Wikipedia and many other sites
9. Gmail random signature: Make your emails cooler with a random signature
10. Google Translate: Translate any page into the selected language
