Stop Windows Vista From Highlighting New Installed Programs

Like me do you find it annoying when you install a new program in Windows Vista and the program is automatically highlighted in the start menu, until you click on it? If so, then the guide below will stop this happening:
- Click on a blank part of your taskbar and select Properties
- In the popup window that appears click on Start Menu and then Customize
- In the options that appear, untick Highlight newly installed programs and click OK and then Apply
