I decided to build my first PC in 2005, and since then I’ve built four and tweaked my main one a few times. I decided to build my first PC as a challenge, and also because it was a lot cheaper. It was a lot easier to do than I thought, but it still was a scary task.
To build your first PC all you really need is a good guide that not only helps you choose the components for your PC, but also tells you how to put them together properly. The best PC building guide I’ve seen for a while can be found at Games Radar. This extensive guide must have taken days to pull together, but as a result contains everything you could ever want to know about building a PC.
Best of all – it’s free.
