Video Game Recommendation: Call Of Duty 4

Top Tip: Click here to run a free scan for common PC errors

Call of DutyI’ve recently picked up the gaming bug again after months of neglecting my Xbox 360. I think what has swinged it is two of my good friends finally getting Xbox 360s and also picking up copies of Halo 3. For the last couple of nights we’ve been teaming up online and kicking some serious ass.

The experience has made me start looking for another Xbox 360 game to buy, and I think I’ve found a winner in Call of Duty 4. The reviews I’ve seen of the game have been very good and the graphics look so lifelike.

Here’s what Test Freaks have to say about the game:

This game conveys good frame rates and has good and easy-to-use multiplayer setups. In many ways, some players feel that it resembles these same features on Halo 2 & 3, by even having matching playlist…..The game’s multiplayer mode is like a hidden treasure waiting to be unlocked. High-quality story mode is such which create the thrills and unexpected moments to its players. ….The quality of its content in the campaign is top notch while its multiplayer is the best around. In other words, the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a truly superb package.

Sounds perfect for the next challenge for my Xbox crew!

  • I too have got this bug.  Halo 3 is a great game but only for multiplayer.  The campaign is rediculously short, and a weak storyline.  Call of Duy 4, I have to say is way better.  And has a much wider audience than Halo 3 on XBox Live.  Not as many 10 year olds babbling into thier mics.
