Free Alternatives To Nero

I haven’t used Nero for a long time, as I very rarely burn CDs or DVDs. However, if you are a regular disk burner then Nero is an amazing program.

The only problem with Nero though is it’s price, which is very hefty. If you looking for some good free alternatives to Nero then check out this post that lists five good alternatives. There are some other good apps listed in the many comments.

    Why worry about free alternatives to Nero? I found Nero 8 for $4.99 with $1 shipping the other day. $6 is basically free, considering the polished features you get with Nero vs free. Nero 7 I’ve seen for even less than that. It just seems moot.

    You’ve linked through to Nero 8 Essentials which is a very limited product compared to the full version of Nero 8 that costs a lot more
