Learn A Language For Free With Mango

Even before I moved to America, I’ve wanted to learn Spanish but I’ve never got around to doing it.  Now with Mango I might finally find the time to learn Spanish.

Mango is a new web service that helps you learn foreign languages for free.  Standard languages like French, German, Spanish and Portuguese are available, as well as harder languages like Chinese, Russian, Mandarin and many more.

The service works by playing back phrases in your native language and the new language.  If you need to hear a word again, just click the sound icon.  Lessons can be taken at whatever speed you are comfortable with, and can be retaken at any time.

    Very cool! I’ve tried to learn by listening to language learning CDs while I drive and just didn’t get very far.
