Friday Break: Check Out Halloween Express For Great Halloween Costumes
I love Halloween! In the UK they don’t really celebrate Halloween and if you go trick or treating, you are likely to get attacked by old age pensioners. But, since I’ve moved to America I’ve been to some kickin’ parties.
This year I’m going to go all out and I’m definitely going to buy a costumer from Halloween Express who have just ordered this sponsored review. I’ve got my eye on the Psycho Bates Grandma costume pictured above, but I’m going to check out a few more of the costumes before picking one out.
The range of costumes within the Halloween Express site is huge, which isn’t surprising as the chain has over 140 stores across the US. If you live near to a store then it might be more fun popping down to your local store. If you don’t live near a store then don’t worry, as they have same day shipping available. The site and stores are open all year round btw.
A huge range of costumes for kids and adults are available and are nicely organised into themes e.g. Princess costumes, Classic Horror etc. But, as with most things what makes a winner is the detail. Halloween Express excels with this, and in addition to the hundreds of costumes available there are many little items you can use to accessorize and really make your costume stand out. Of course there’s lots of Blood & Gore, but small items like swords, knives, colored contact lenses (so cool) etc are also available, as well as a wide range of wigs and masks.
Another nice feature is the automatic cross-sell, which shows related items which is a big help if the item you are currently looking at doesn’t quite hit the spot, or if you are just looking for some additional bits and bobs to really make your costume stand out.
Halloween Express is definitely an A-grade online store, which isn’t surprising given that there is a real-life bricks and mortar operation behind the site.

Hi, I ordered a couple of costumes from http://www.halloweenexpress.com in early August 2007 and have only experienced the worst customer service experience there ever.
1) I ordered the costumes with 6 days to go until the costume party. The website said that I could order now and receive the items two days after the items leave the warehouse. Well, little did I know that it would take them 3 whole days to prepare the package to leave the warehouse! Unfortunately, I did not receive the items in time.
2) I then returned the items, but even then that was a headache. I had to make sure I submitted the return online, get an RMA number, be sure to include two different RMA numbers inside and outside of the package. Then remember to include all of part of my credit card info for verification or else my “return will not be processed correctly”.
3) It is October 16, 2007 2.5 months since my purchase and I still have not received the credit yet.
This company sucks. If you can avoid them, definitely do! They suck so much I will never ever order from them again!
