Computer Desktops are funny things. Most people spend a lot of time finding wallpaper that they like to fill the space, but other than that, Desktops don’t really do a lot. But, what if you could make your Desktop work harder?

If you’re a big reader of RSS feeds then one thing that you can do is add your RSS feeds to your desktop, which will be updated live. Instructables have put together a great guide on how to add RSS feeds to your desktop.     hi. this is a rather old post. i am wondering whether by now there are any software that can automatically do this for you; something like googlereader can now do but that makes it looks like the one on this post instead of how googlereader makes it look-i.e. it makes the RSS appear in boxes [windows] on the screen. I just want the links [the letters] to appear on the screen.
