Top Tip: Click here to run a free scan for common PC errors
How many times have you tried to find a particular mp3 track on your PC, but it seems to have disappeared? Or, you’ve downloaded a track but when you try to find it in your iTunes library, you can’t find it?
The problem usually is that the Tags in your mp3 files are wrong. These ID3 Tags tell iTunes and other mp3 players what song it is actually playing, so if the tag embedded in the mp3 file is incorrect or incomplete, it can be hard managing your music collection….particularly if you have a big collection.
If you want to get your music collection and its ID3 tags into pristine collection then check out Connected Internet who have just published an updated version of their MP3 tagging guide. The method that is walked through is very easy to follow, but be prepared to spend a lot of time tidying up your music if you have a big collection.
But, it’s definitely worth the effort, as it’s pointless having a big collection if you can never find a good song again!
