After explaining a few days ago how to use Google to search for just faces, I’ve now found a way to search just for sounds.
FindSounds is a search engine that just indexes only sounds. This can be useful if you want a funky sound effect for your phone, PC, presentation etc. All you have to do to find the sound that you want is enter a normal search entry, and hey presto, sounds are returned.
There’s even a handy sound icon on the page so you quickly listen to samples. Advanced search options are also available that all just WAV, AU or AIFF files to be searched for.
