Synchronize Your Firefox Bookmarks Between PCs
My favourite Firefox extension is the Google Browser Sync extension and it’s the first Firefox addon I always install when I’m setting up a PC.
Not only does Google Browser Sync keep your vital bookmarks synchronized between PCs, it also sychronizes your history, cookies and passwords. It even syncronizes the pages you were looking at, so you can pick up where you left off on another machine.
If you haven’t switched to Firefox then it’s another reason to do it, as Firefox is the king of Internet browsers. What are you waiting for?

I prefer Foxmarks. I tried the Google extension in the beginning, but it was to buggy and pretty much scared me off from ever trying it again.
IMO…FoxMarks is the way to go for Bookmark Synchronization. Bookmark synchronization alone would sell me on Firefox.

I use this and it is pretty cool. I also use the Google Toolbar Bookmark button which allows me to synchronize between pc and browsers

The current version isn’t buggy. All you to do is be careful when installing it on additional PCs. I’ve found that it can mess up the first-time synchronization if both PCs have browsers open, and all your bookmarks will disappear.

Yeah Foxmarks never worked for me, because it was having trouble connecting to the server or something (and I was trying to use the default). Anyway, Google Browser Sync has more features that I would use (password sync as well), and it’s always worked great for me.

Well, one other thing about Foxmarks, is you don’t have to rely on somone else’s server. You can set it up to point to your own FTP site.

Good tip, though I prefer the del.icio.us extension for Firefox:

Using del.icio.us means you can do all sorts of funky stuff with your bookmarks, such as injecting a note of any new ones you’ve added directly into your RSS feed via FeedBurner. That way others your subscribers can keep up-to-date with your bookmarks.

Google Browser Sync extension is discontinued, I have a method for synchronizing bookmarks between PC’s manually. View this video tutorial Synchronize your bookmarks, you can even carry them on a USB drive or even MP3 player.
