I haven’t quite worked out how to stop Vista doing this, but I have worked out how to automatically run programs as an administrator. To do this all you have to do is the following: Right-click on the shortcut for the programClick on the Advanced buttonIn the Dialog window that pops up check the box ‘Run As Administrator’Once you’ve done this that particular application will always run as administrator, which can help solve compatibility problems.
