Top Tip: Click here to run a free scan for common PC errors
I must have been having a psychic moment with my tip yesterday about Google Page Ranks, as Google has been updating Page Ranks this weekend. I’ve been lucky enough to be bumped up from a Page Rank 1 to Page Rank 4, which I think is a pretty impressive increase and should hopefully mean I will get even more visitors.
If you want to see if your Page Rank has been increased then the best way to do this is to install the Alexa Toolbar. Not only does the Alexa Toolbar display your Page Rank, but it can also help to improve your Alexa Rank.
Once the toolbar is installed, then everytime you visit your site that will count as a visit when Alexa compiles its data. Many advertising services like Text-Link Ads and ReviewMe, as well as potential advertisers use these stats to gauge the value of advertising on a site, so trying to increase your Alexa Rank can be important.
If you use IE then install the Alexa toolbar. Firefox users should install Firefox’s SearchStatus extension. If you are looking for other ways to increase your Alexa Rank then check out this post from Connected Internet.
