Top 10 Ways To Access Blocked Websites

We all know the scenario. You’re at work or at school and someone in their infinite wisdom has decided to block access to one of your favourite sites. The latest one for me at my workplace is my own website!

Using a proxy server used to be the quickest way, but network admins seem to be blocking these just as fast as new ones get created. Luckily, there are other ways to get around firewalls and network blocks. Here are 10 of the best:

Top Ten methods to access banned websites

  1. Use IP address
  2. Use Google cache
  3. Use an Anonymizer
  4. Use Online Translation Tools
  5. Use Google Mobile search
  6. Use a public Proxy server
  7. Get web pages via email
  8. Use Tor Distributed Proxy
  9. Your own proxy server
  10. Use alternate content providers

To get full details on each of the methods click here. I’m going to look into number 9 myself, now that I have my own server.

The problem of all those methods is that they do not work! My ISP blocks all proxies! MY friend advised me the http://strongvpn.com . He said that he uses it for several months and can access all sites he wants. It’s requiring some fee, but 24*7 support… I really do not know. Think that a few backs are not so important…
