Top 10 Ways To Access Blocked Websites

We all know the scenario. You’re at work or at school and someone in their infinite wisdom has decided to block access to one of your favourite sites. The latest one for me at my workplace is my own website!

Using a proxy server used to be the quickest way, but network admins seem to be blocking these just as fast as new ones get created. Luckily, there are other ways to get around firewalls and network blocks. Here are 10 of the best:

Top Ten methods to access banned websites

  1. Use IP address
  2. Use Google cache
  3. Use an Anonymizer
  4. Use Online Translation Tools
  5. Use Google Mobile search
  6. Use a public Proxy server
  7. Get web pages via email
  8. Use Tor Distributed Proxy
  9. Your own proxy server
  10. Use alternate content providers

    Hello,

I work as a system level programmer in Dubai , and pagemod proxies were the only ones which got through the Etisalat Filter.
I have tried all sorts of proxy servers like TOR etc but all get pretty slow and inaccessible moreover pagemod has support
for myspace bebo facebook orkut and video sites as well.
Even tough web proxies like pagemod proxies gets blocked eventually I get new ones just by sending a mail to
pagemod@gmail.com or by subscribing to their services.
    Presently their new ones are:

    https://mapreference.info or
    mapreference.info

    Hello

Filters like Websense is pretty good at what they do and definitely system admins are keeping a log of the sites you visit even proxies, so theres always a risk.

I love taking risks and I use http://www.cityradio.me proxy from pagemod.com
signup for their subscription service or mail them at pagemod@gmail.com for new ones.
