I love Gmail. There are very few things it can’t do, but until today there was one small thing that really bugged me – I couldn’t display just unread email.
Then I discovered a link to a page that lists all of the useful searches that you can do. Did you know that if you type “is:unread“ in the search field, only your unread email will be displayed? Other gems listed include:
- from: – Used to specify the sender
- to: - Used to specify a recipient
- in:anywhere – Search for messages anywhere in your account*
- after: or before: – Search for messages sent during a certain period of time*
