Install FaviconizeTab And Freeup Firefox Space
I’m obsessed with keeping my desktop and my browser nice and tidy so I love plugins like FaviconizeTab, which reduces the width of specified Firefox tabs to only its favicon to save space in the tab bar.
For sites where you only need to see the favicon to know what it is, then set those tabs to just their icon to make room for other tabs’ titles that you actually need to read.
Once the extension is installed, just right-click to ‘Faviconize it’. Simple.
Download FaviconizeTab here. Thanks to Lifehacker for the tip.

Great plugin, but a little too small for me when it comes to tab size… but this would be great if the same could be done with the bookmarks toolbar…

I think you can - I’m sure I saw a guide to doing that somewhere. I’ll see if I can find it tomorrow
