gHacks have produced a great guide on how to watch the WorldCup Online. I’ve just tried it out and the quality is surprisingly very good. All you have to do is download the latest Tuvplayer version from Rapidshare and select the channel ESPN2, they show the games live and it´s working. Downloads also available from Badango and Rapidsharing.
Once you’ve done this find the CCTV1, CCTV5 and probably Shanghai Sports channels. These channels are showing the games. If you have problems using the player then check out these very clear FAQs.
Once the World Cup is over this service can be used to watch other soccer matches. I’ve used the service to watch English Premiership matches in the past ok.
One final tip. The streams for the games can take a while to start sometimes so make sure you find your stream at least 10 minutes before the game starts.
